Toliam Homestead - Workshops

Our workshops are taught by passionate tutors who love what they do and are bursting to share their skills. This hands-on course is designed to provide you with an introduction to essential woodworking techniques using both hand and power tools. Learn about wood turning, gluing, sanding, cutting, assembly and finishing. You will be constructing at least two small items of your choice from cheese boards and cheese knives to bottle stoppers and rolling pins.

Timber and Resin workshops are also available where you can learn how to mix and pour acrylic resin to create river board, river tables and wine racks, or even resin jewelry or chess sets.

Workshops are for 2 x 2 hour sessions (best to be booked one week apart or at least 24 hours to allow for any glued up projects to cure).

Bookings are by appointment only.

Please note - Woodworking can be dangerous.

It is your responsibility to come suitably attired and provide your safety equipment of a minimum of Safety Glasses, Ear Muffs and Dust Mask/Ventilator.

If you do not have these, you can purchase a set from our range on site.

Minimum age for Workshops is 14 years. There is no maximum. The Toliam Homestead WoodCraft Workshop is a smoke and alcohol free zone.
